THE STUDIO: As an artist, designer and writer with a multidisciplinary approach, an inclination toward the illustrative and a strong sense for the conceptual, I take on illustration-forward projects in the realm of identity design, editorial assignments, visual essays, and personal commissions.

Delightful clients include: The Carlyle Hotel, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, The Wall Street Journal, Google, wetransfer, Big Night, & Karhu.

In 2021, Princeton Architectural Press published my first book, Color Scheme: An Irreverent History of Art and Pop Culture in Color Palettes.

I send visual essays via a newsletter called Powers of Observation. Prints of my art historical palettes are available here.

THE ADVISORY: I specialize in art advising, applying my encyclopedic knowledge of art history, visual culture, and today’s emerging and practicing artists to a wide variety of projects. I work with both private collectors and corporate clients at any stage of building a collection.
