I write about art, design, books, culture, and New York.

I wrote my first book, published by Princeton Architectural Press in 2021, and I also develop visual essays.

Here’s my recent work for New york Magazine’s The strategist. I've written about THE NEW YORKER’S FIRST-EVER WALLPAPER COLLECTION; the appeal of Wayne Pate's paintings; Haitian-American fashion designer Victor Glemaud's first foray into the world of interiors with a Toussaint Louverture toile; the quiet genius of an upcycling gemologist who repurposes heirloom jewelry with a novel vision; and Johnson Hartig of Libertine’s energetic, diorama-inspired approach to interior design, all for Frederic Magazine.

I’ve written for an array of other places, including the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Cherry Bombe, Teen Vogue, Vice, and Eater. I’ve occupied editorial roles at Man Repeller*, the Malin, and Bergdorf Goodman — more about that here.
